What is Personal Training At Evolve Chiropractic?

Personal Training at Evolve Chiropractic focuses on technique, form, movement with intent, and a purpose of continuing to evolve with baby steps. Our goal for your continued evolution in personal training is to get 1% better every day. If we are able to achieve that, in 3 months you will be twice the person you currently are - and it only gets better from there! Patients who continue into personal training from the rehabilitation phase of their recommended treatment plan should expect a gradual ramp up from our rehabilitation phase exercises, and an expansion of exercises from just the area of complaint to full body activity.

Dr. Humphrey is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, and he utilizes the NASM systematic approach to training with all clients that choose to pursue Personal Training at Evolve Chiropractic. Patients will progress from stabilization exercises to strength exercises and eventually power exercises, which is the same progression used in NASM’s optimal performance training (OPT) model.


Where is The Gym Located At Evolve Chiropractic?

Right in our office in downtown Dripping Springs, Texas! Our rehabilitation room is a state-of-the-art gym, suitable for personal use, and personal training. Our gym sports an Olympic lifting rack, free weights, resistance bands, TRX suspension bands, balance and stabilization equipment, and a body weight rig. We are capable of developing every muscle group in the human body in the comfort of our own clinic.


Do I Still Receive Chiropractic Care When I Come In For Personal Training?

Of course! This is one of the greatest ways in which Evolve Chiropractic differs from many other personal trainers in the local community. Having a Doctor and Personal Trainer by your side for the entirety of your training is priceless. The Dual-expertise and being able to actively treat any complaint or issue that does occur during training sessions gives clients the ability to stay in the gym, and continue with their evolution as opposed to being derailed from their regimen.

The beginning and end of each personal training session include some form of treatment, typically this includes controlled articular rotations, CBD application, percussion therapy, and voodoo flossing therapy. However, more treatment modalities can be added if necessary based on patient presentation in the clinic, and performance during training sessions.


I’ve Never Completed A Treatment Plan At Evolve Chiropractic, Can I Still Do Personal Training?

Yes! You may still do personal training at Evolve Chiropractic regardless of being an active patient or not. In order to receive the additional benefits of treatment during the training sessions, we will first perform an initial detailed examination to ensure we are not overlooking anything in your current or previous health history prior to training.


What Are The Goals For Personal Training At Evolve Chiropractic?
